Hedi Slimane shot in black and white for the permanent collection of Saint Laurent.
Parisian fashion house Saint Laurent unveiled its latest Permanent Collection featuring the Austrian model Helena Severin. Creative director Hedi Slimane decided to make this well known model the face for this fashion house once again. This Permanent Collection is a proposal based around the idea of wardrobe stability that perfectly matches the black and white colours of the garments and campaign.
We have already seen Helena posing for Saint Laurent dressed from head to toe for their campaigns, as well as shooting for other top firms such as Givenchy or Lanvin or even more accesible and closer ones like Uterqüe, owned by Inditex Group. Her gentle, soft and genuine poses enhance the elegance of the clothes she is dressep in.
In this line, the Permanent Collection shows functional jewels that complement day-to-day outfits with the more elegant ones; featuring iconic Saint Laurent bags such as the Betty Bag and garments, clothes and accessories that will be the excellent choice for any occasion, which have become some of our wardrobe staples. The brand’s essentials are the focus of the new campaign for it’s permanent collection and are meant to be offered season after season. The staples include a little black dress, a white silk shirt and the classic Le Smoking jacket in black. Essentials that can can make our outfit ideal for any unexpected appointment.
