S.T. Dupont’s Star Wars collection is inspired equally by the light side of the Force as it is by the dark side, which together maintain a perfect equilibrium. There can be no good without evil and no rebels without an Empire. Infused by the powerful spirit of the Jedi and the Sith, S.T. Dupont’s master goldsmiths, silversmiths and trunk makers have crafted a galactic limited edition of items which any Star Wars fan will adore.

Both the TIE Fighter and the X-Wing Collector’s Set are limited edition pens issued in 1977 pieces, to be assembled in one’s own time, constructed from ceramium to make them light but unbreakable. The X-Wing mimics the iconic spacecraft fighter jet, and comes tucked inside a glossy black lacquer box holding an X-Wing writing instrument and all the pieces required to assemble your own Rebel Alliance fighter craft. Symbolizing the dark side of the Force, the matt black TIE Fighter set is a counterpart to the X-Wing and resembles a missile. The body and cap are entirely hand-guilloched with patterns representing the front view of the cockpit

The pens reflect the theme well, with Rebel Alliance and Galactic Empire logos emblazoned on the base of the pen clips and intricate patterns engraved on the surface of the starships.

But the best instalment in the Star Wars franchise is by far S.T. Dupont’s latest collection, the levitating lightsaber pens. Available in two designs, the pens mimic the iconic lightsabers of Darth Vader and Jedi Master Yoda. They are made in bronze with black lacquer, palladium and rhodium and red topaz in the Darth Vader model and green in the Yoda model. Both variations boast a special plinth with a magnetic system that allows each pen to levitate in mid air, a system that only works when connected to a power source or via telekinesis.

This luxurious addition to the Star Wars franchise by the renowned Parisian brand is priced at £20,000.
